Our Extra Matured Iced Top Fruit Loaf Cake is a wonderfully rich, indulgent take on a true British classic.
Handcrafted in our Lincolnshire bakery using a recipe we’ve been perfecting since 1972, each loaf is made with an impressive 50% fruit content, packed with plump sultanas and citrus peel, with brandy adding warmth and depth to every slice.
What makes this cake extra special is time. Baked in the early part of 2026, it has been carefully steeped with brandy and slowly matured over many months, allowing the flavours to deepen and develop while creating an exceptionally moist, rich and beautifully indulgent texture.
Each loaf is baked low and slow, then finished with a generous layer of marzipan and smooth sugar icing, giving you that perfect combination of rich fruit cake, sweet almond and soft icing in every mouthful.
With up to 20 generous portions per loaf, perfect for afternoon teas, café counters, festive menus, coffee & cake offers, hotel lounges, farm shops, corporate catering and seasonal events., beautifully traditional, wonderfully indulgent and made for customers who appreciate a proper matured fruit cake.
