Our award-winning Matured Brandy Fruit & Nut Loaf Cake is an exceptionally rich and indulgent take on a traditional fruit cake, made for those who appreciate deep, developed flavours and a truly luxurious texture.
Handcrafted in our Lincolnshire bakery using a recipe we’ve been perfecting since 1972, each loaf is made with more than 50% fruit content and generously packed with plump sultanas and mixed peel, creating a beautifully dense, fruit-filled cake with richness in every single slice.
Baked in the early part of 2026, each loaf is baked low and slow, generously soaked with brandy and carefully matured over many months. This extended maturation gives the fruit and brandy time to mingle, mellow and deepen, creating an irresistibly moist, rich and intensely indulgent texture with a wonderfully rounded, warming flavour.
The cake is then finished with glossy glacé cherries and delicate flaked almonds, adding bursts of sweetness and a subtle nutty crunch to the beautifully rich fruit cake beneath.
With up to 20 generous portions per loaf, perfect for afternoon teas, café counters, festive menus, coffee & cake offers, hotel lounges, farm shops, corporate catering and seasonal events, this is a truly luxurious matured fruit cake — rich, fruity, brandy-soaked and made to be savoured.
